Welcome to the Sussex Region of The British Cactus and Succulent Society

The BCSS is a National Society formed to promote interest in and enjoyment of cacti and succulents. It is organised into a number of geographical regions and there are currently two Branches in Sussex, see our zone map.

The newest Branch is Rother Valley, which was the first new Branch of the BCSS to open in over a decade. For more details see the link to the Branch's website.

Sussex has always been a good place to grow cacti and has been home to some major collections. See our history page for more information on the BCSS in Sussex.
